The guide was great. Funny and knowledgeable. And each site was beautiful. I would say it’s too long in wanaka and not long enough in arrowtown though as there’s lots to see and do there. It’s probably worth spending the whole day there and it’s only a 20 minute drive from queenstown. Wanaka is pretty but nothing really going on other than a view of the lake.★

It was an absolute pleasure driving with Dan! We got to see so many places where lotr was filmed and had plenty of time to take pictures. He explained so many details to filming, the books and the lore. Would a 110% book it again!
