What a phenomenal day of art and conversation with three talented Mexican artists in their home studios, thanks to our wonderful guide and his assistant. Lunch was delicious, and the opportunity to drive through various neighborhoods was enjoyable. And, finally, visiting our fantastic tour guide Jose’s gallery—Galería Arte Oaxaca Mio—provided a great ending to a memorable day.★

We had a great time exploring a local market and picking the fruits and veggies for cooking. Victor showed us some local, handmade specialities and later taught us how to make authentic food like Guaca, Salsa, Black Mole and Tortillas/Quesadillas. It was such a fun experience and we learned a lot about the native food culture of Oaxaca. Everything was delicious and the cooking school itself was beautiful.
