It was a wonderful experience. The guide, Abdurahman, was very kind in helping me at certain points along the route. I recommend going in the morning because it's already hot at 10:00. You don't need hiking boots; a pair of shoes to avoid slipping will do. On the way back, I even had water shoes. However, in some places, there are some annoying gullies. When you reach the fords, nature really shows its best. We didn't like Bimmah sinkhole very much.★

Wadi Shab in itself is very beautiful, so the walking and swimming offers you amazing views. Besides that our guide Mahmood took really good care of us throughout the whole day. I was even more impressed when I saw him collect garbage from Wadi. He explained to me that he and his colleagues do this every day. That is admirable from them, but sad that they have to do this every day. Unfortunately there is quite a lot of trash around, here and there. I encourage everyone to take your garbage with you and do not leave it in the nature.★

Absolutely outstanding trip, the sights were incredible and left feeling absolutely amazing. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience. Made all the more incredible by our outstanding tour guide Mohammed Aldighaishi. He was an absolute legend gave in great insights into the history of the area and all around elevated the trip to a brilliant level.
If you’re booking a trip in Oman THIS IS THE GUY YOU WANT! Such a nice bloke.
Can’t reccomend Gidoman and Mohammed Aldighaishi enough.

What an amazing day trip! We had absolutely nothing but fun. We were picked up from the hotel in a 4x4 pickup truck. We visited Wadi Bani Khalid and the desert with a couple from the USA and an Italian. Mohammed is young but a very experienced driver with a passion for cars and the desert. We thoroughly enjoyed tearing through the desert, sandboarding, and watching the sunset. If you're looking for adventure, you absolutely must book this day trip.
