1. Before your trip, please download the Global Ballooning Australia app to obtain hot air balloon ride information. You will then receive notifications the evening before your flight regarding the meeting/pickup time and whether the flight will proceed as scheduled the next day.

2. A link with information about whether the trip can proceed will also be sent to the email address you provided when placing the order. Please check your inbox. You can click the link to view flight status and other details. If you have any questions, please contact us.

3. If the trip is canceled due to bad weather, please contact Global Hot Air Balloon Ride to reschedule. If the flight confirmation procedure is not completed, resulting in misunderstandings or missed flight times, your booking will be voided and cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

To take a hot air balloon ride, you must not have undergone major surgery within the last 6 months and be physically capable of standing for 1 hr.

Hot air ballooning is an activity where spectators can participate, and we encourage you to assist with balloon setup and packing. Please wear clothes that can get dirty and appropriate closed-toe shoes.

Avoid wearing high heels, flip-flops, or open-toed shoes. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory. Your feet will get wet and cold from the morning dew, so bring an extra pair of socks, especially in winter! Wear hiking-appropriate clothing, sturdy shoes, warm socks, and a hat, as the stove will emit heat. Make sure your pockets have zippers to keep your belongings secure.

The general weight limit is 140 kg, and additional fees may apply for exceeding this weight.

During the hot air balloon ride, sparks or small amounts of soot may fall from the heating burner. Please avoid wearing flammable or brightly colored clothing. Due to operational limitations, the hot air balloon company cannot provide compensation for any issues arising from these circumstances. Your understanding is appreciated.

For safety reasons, we do not recommend travel for women in their third trimester of pregnancy. We strongly advise consulting your doctor before flying to understand any health risks and recommendations. Additionally, our pilots reserve the right to deny boarding to any passenger if they believe it may jeopardize the safety of the flight or other passengers, such as during takeoff or landing in high winds.
