The meeting point was right by the Starbucks at the east-shiroku exit of Hakata Station, and we departed right on time. Some tourists overslept and didn't even wait. They were very punctual.
The bus was in excellent condition, with plenty of air conditioning. The guide was very welcoming.
Kumamoto Castle and Mount Aso were both great. Despite the heat, Kumamoto Castle was worth visiting; it's air-conditioned and offers a panoramic view from above. There were also many delicious dishes on the first floor. The horse meat fried cakes were delicious, and the limited-edition watermelon soda was very quenching.
Due to Mount Aso's active season, we couldn't get the bus to our nearest viewing location, which was a shame.
The ice cream on the mountain was delicious and worth trying. The set lunch menu was also good, though a bit pricey up there. The air was nice, and walking on the grass was much cooler than at the foot of the mountain.★

Our tour guide, Ms. Zhuo, was incredibly genuine, with a wonderful personality and a straightforward nature. Unlike other tour guides who are often driven by self-interest, she genuinely shared the best local food and attractions with us.
The entire trip was very relaxing and perfectly planned, making for a smooth day. We avoided traffic jams and didn't waste any time. It was the luckiest trip of our entire trip, and I'd love to see her again!
The driver was also a wonderful presence, providing enthusiastic and engaging explanations that were especially entertaining.★

What a pleasant and smooth day! 🌞 The weather was amazing! Autumn in Takachiho Gorge is beautiful.
Luckily, I didn't become an Aso refugee! 😂 I saw Mount Aso up close, it was quite breathtaking! Our guide, Daisy Wu Xia, was super nice – very professional service, a well-planned itinerary, and very helpful. Tour guide Sun Nan was very professional and managed the time very well. He answered all the questions and explained each attraction clearly, giving us enough time to move around freely. The Aso dairy products recommended by Guide Sun were really delicious! I would recommend this day trip to friends who are going to Aso👍
