Miyahara Eye Hospital is located near Taichung Railway Station. Renovated and rebranded by the renowned local pastry brand Dawn Cake, the nearly dilapidated building was largely preserved while incorporating modern design elements, transforming it into Dawn Cake's unique flagship store.

[National Taichung Theater] is located in the Xitun District of Taichung City, within the Qizhong Redevelopment Zone. It is a large public performance venue designed by Japanese architect Toyo Ito, a Pritzker Prize laureate. The National Taichung Theater boasts a unique advantage, featuring three professional theaters and a multifunctional space called the "Corner Salon" within its impeccable architecture. Additionally, with the square under the blue sky, the outdoor theater, and the rooftop sky garden, the theater can be described as a captivating stage from the inside out, from the ground to the rooftop.

Rainbow Village, originally known as Taichung Gancheng Sixth Village, gained fame when Mr. Huang, a retired veteran, created astonishingly vibrant colors with his brushstrokes. Through word of mouth among netizens, people came to know about this

in Taiwan. Along a short 150-meter-long alley, amateur artist Mr. Huang painted colorful lines and patterns on everything from eaves and walls to roads and mailboxes. These playful and cheerful designs, radiating youthful joy, attract many visitors and serve as a popular backdrop for wedding photos.

Gaomei Wetlands, originally known as the Gaomei Wildlife Reserve, is located on the south side of the Qingshui Dajia River estuary, covering a vast area of 1,500 hectares. It boasts rich ecological and scenic resources, with the orange-red sunset and towering windmills being must-see attractions. Local residents once restricted outside visitors to balance tourism development and ecological conservation. After the Taichung City Government constructed the scenic wooden boardwalk, a balance was achieved, realizing the conservation principle of "keeping visitors on the boardwalk and leaving the wetlands for intertidal organisms."
