We had an amazing day exploring Zaanse Schans, Edam, Volendam and Marken with our tour guide Agustin! He was incredibly fun, very knowledgeable, and made the history and stories come alive in such an engaging way. We never felt rushed and he really looked after everyone in the group, always checking we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. From the windmills to the cheese tastings and beautiful fishing villages, everything was well organised and smooth thanks to him. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests having the best experience possible. Highly recommend this tour — and if you get Augustin as your guide, you’re in great hands!

Had a fantastic day. We took the boat to Marken, walked and had lunch there, and then took the boat back, after which we wandered through Volendam. The only problem was that the booking mentioned a guided tour. We even chose the English-language option, but there was no guide or explanation, and the skipper was completely clueless. So, either leave it out or add a fun guide with a historical commentary ;-)

We had a great time, accessible to everyone (7 to 77 years old). Visit to the cheese factory, easy bike ride plus the return boat trip (green circuit in 4 hours). Recommended without hesitation.


