Reviews: Manuel Antonio National Park Wildlife Tour

We had a great time getting toured around Manuel Antonio National Park by our tour guide, Jacob! He was not only very knowledgeable about the various animals that we encountered (and had a sharp eye for spotting the more heavily camouflaged ones), he was also very friendly and willing to answer any questions that we had. The tour structure was also very nice. Jacob toured us around for around 3 hours before ending the tour at one of the nice beaches within the park. From there we could choose what we wanted to do between hiking some of the trails that weren’t covered in the tour, relaxing at one of the beaches, or just leaving. We had a wonderful time on the tour, here are some recommendations if you do join: - The beaches close at 3PM though so if you’re interested in that, I’d recommend taking the 7:20AM tour so that you have time to enjoy the beaches at the end. - Make sure to bring a reusable water bottle since single use plastic is not allowed inside (there are potable water stations for refills inside the park) - Eat before the tour since you aren’t allowed to bring your own snacks into the park. If needed there is a store that you can buy food, drinks, or souvenirs before you reach the beach though - Aerosol bug spray and aerosol sunscreen were not allowed so plan accordingly - The guide will have a telescope (monocular?) that they will point at the animals and use your smart phone to take pics of, but it’s also kind of fun to bring in your own binoculars to see if you can find the animals they point out yourself! - If you’re bringing a car, make sure to have cash to pay for parking

We were so lucky to see a wide variety of animals combined with the best guide, Andrew! He was so knowledgeable, funny, and inclusive! He made sure everyone was able to get a chance to look at everything including others in another group. We were a lucky group that saw a sloth right in front of us as we caught her on her bathroom break. This tour was a highlight! So many animals and Andrew’s pictures were phenomenal!

The tour was incredible and our guide showed us so much more than we ever would’ve seen by ourselves. I would definitely recommend this tour!
Reviews: Mangrove Boat Tour Damas Island, Manuel Antonio

We thoroughly enjoyed our mangrove boat tour. Kenneth, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the species of animals we saw along with fauna. We saw sloths, capuchin monkeys playing on our boat, birds, three lizard species, turtles, boa snakes. Our boat driver also did a great job. And our driver Orlando as well. Thank you all for a great experience!

Fantastic experience with Diego during our visit to Manuel Antonio National Park! Extremely friendly, he shared a wealth of information with us about the animals and their environment. Without him, we wouldn't have seen a single animal during our entire visit! He also took numerous photos for us through his telescope. We highly recommend him!

What an amazing experience!! We were a small group that went and we had an absolute blast!! The 4 tour guys with us (Antonio, Raymond, Ronold and Neeman) were all amazing!! We even got to see monkeys and the meal included was beyond delicious! If you’re ever in the area I highly recommend taking a tour with this company!! The fees were very reasonable and we had the best time!
