This was one of my favourite day trips from Hobart (I did 6 day trips all together). Alex, the guide was genuinely friendly and knowledgeable. The pink granite boulders of Freycinet National Park were so interesting. The blue waters and view of Wineglass Bay was beautiful. Alex took time for little things too, like a chance to swim at a nearby little beach, buying a great seafood lunch, buying amazing cherries at a local farm, and ice cream at the lolly shop in Richmond. It was a great day!★

Weather was fantastic after a long period of wintry weather. The driver shared lots of helpful information about the past, current locations, places of interest and where to find scallop pies and yummy ice cream! Though it wasn’t what I wanted to do, there were side trips available which sounded interesting. I enjoyed visiting what was of interest to me rather than being locked into a set agenda.
