Guide Yang is an outstanding tour guide whose service elevated our travel experience to a whole new level. He is not only knowledgeable and provides engaging explanations, but also incredibly thoughtful and considerate. Throughout the trip, he constantly paid attention to everyone's needs, proactively helping with photos and finding the best angles, creating many wonderful memories. His care for the elderly and children was particularly meticulous, ensuring their comfort and enjoyment during the journey. His lively and engaging explanations, incorporating historical stories and local culture, made the attractions more vivid and meaningful. The itinerary was well-planned, with a good balance of pace and relaxation, allowing us to visit all the attractions in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. I'll remember this day for a long time! I'll list the positive aspects: the bus picked us up on time, the air conditioning was on and it was very warm, and our guide, Jessie, was very kind and helpful! She speaks very good English! TLDR: Great day trip experience to this nice resort and attraction beside a section of the Great Wall. Dec is their low shoulder period, so not all shops and shows are open. Best to come in spring or autumn where the lake is still accessible. It was frozen when I was there. Description as is, simple to redeem. Driver was nice, trip took 2 hours to reach, spent the whole day walking thru the town then going up the Great Wall. You could also stay for 2 days 1 night watch the shows, walk the town in the evening and see the Great Wall lighted up at night. Note: lots of walking required★
