Reviews: Ferry Ticket from Phuket to Phi Phi Island-Laemtong / Oneway / Round Trip

The tour was superbly organized. A minibus arrived at the hotel and took us to the pier within an hour. There, we were given stickers and boarding passes based on our lists. Two hours later, we arrived at Tonsai Pier. On board, in the Economy Lounge, we were given tea, coffee, water, and motion sickness pills. Everything was perfect. The captain passed Maya Bay, Pele Bay, and the Viking Cave, giving us a great view.

I took a speedboat from Phuket (Rassada) to Krabi (Klong Jilad), and then back. The trip there took over two hours, and the return trip took an hour and forty hours. There were strong waves on the way there, so the ride was like a roller coaster, and everyone had a blast. No complaints, the trip was fantastic.

For the price, it's a great option—a fast, comfortable boat. Next time, we'll book tickets exclusively for this one.

The pick-up and drop-off service was so convenient; we could just wait for the car at the hotel. Since we were staying at the Phi Phi North Nature Resort, we booked a ride to Lanthong Pier. We had to transfer boats directly at sea near Tonsai Bay, which was a bit inconvenient for those prone to seasickness, as we had to wait for the other boat. We waited quite a while; we departed at 8:30 AM and didn't disembark until 11:30 AM. Then the hotel's tractor came to pick us up. Aside from the long journey time, it was very convenient.

Pick-up was on time. Everything was fine. Enough stops to see the area, take a swim, take photos, and even have a short rest. Lunch consisted of rice, potatoes, chicken, and a breaded chicken drumstick. The food was good and sufficient, nothing special. But we didn't come on this excursion for the food… Snorkeling at Chicken Island was shallow but teeming with marine life. Value for money: 9
Reviews: Hong Island Full Day Tour From Krabi

Overall, the tour was okay, but in my opinion it is more worth doing this itinerary independently rather than joining an organized tour. The beaches were extremely crowded, which made it difficult to truly enjoy the experience. As for the guides, their role was very limited. They mainly accompanied people on the boats, but did not provide much information or support beyond that. On the return trip to Nha Trang, our boat had a mechanical issue. What made the situation frustrating was the lack of communication — no one informed or explained anything to the passengers. This was handled very poorly and felt quite unprofessional. For those who prefer flexibility and a calmer experience, going on your own might be a better option
