I think this is a very worthwhile part of Kota Kinabalu; the fireflies are beautiful, and the tour guide is excellent. Aside from the slightly bumpy ride on the main road, there are no other downsides.★

Overall, it was great, deserving full marks. The price was excellent, and a day trip for just over 300 yuan was incredibly worthwhile. Hotel pick-up and drop-off were hassle-free, and the speedboat was relatively smooth, preventing seasickness. Upon arriving on the island, I was amazed by the fine white sand and crystal-clear water. Snorkeling revealed a plethora of tropical fish and corals, and there were also free Instagram-worthy activities and bubble parties.★

We had a great time on the tour. The tour guides Steve and Jay were very knowledgeable about all of the wildlife in the mangroves and helped us take some wonderful pictures on the beach. Overall, this tour really exceeded my expectations.★

We set off late, the guides were cheerful, the water was murky, there weren't many fish, and there were a lot of people. We didn't snorkel much, but swam and dove from the boat.
