9:00 AM: Gather at the entrance of the Umbrella Museum, where the guide will introduce the development of Chinese oil-paper umbrellas and the spread and evolution of umbrella culture worldwide. 9:30-10:00 AM: Stroll along the bluestone-paved Qiaoxi Straight Street by the canal, listening to stories about the Grand Canal's monumental creation and the origins of grain transport boats. Explore a mural-covered alley to learn about China's sharp-witted literary figure, Lu Xun. 10:00-10:30 AM: Visit a down-to-earth Temple of Wealth surrounded by residential buildings, then proceed to Lao Kaixin Teahouse to discover Hangzhou's unique folk tunes and the origins of "Xiao Re Hun," the precursor to folk rap. 10:30-11:30 AM: Tour the Handicraft Living Museum, home to dozens of China's intangible cultural heritage projects. In addition to viewing exhibits, we've arranged a special oil-paper umbrella-making workshop for you (craft your own umbrella—from selecting bamboo strips to sketching and coloring—and experience the ingenuity and delight of handmade artistry). 11:30 AM-12:00 PM: Ascend Gongchen Bridge for a panoramic view of the ancient town on both riverbanks. Beyond being a photo spot, this century-old bridge is steeped in cultural heritage and fascinating tales. 12:00-1:30 PM: Lunch recommendation: Qiaoxi Straight Street / Xiaohe Straight Street – Xintengfei Restaurant (taxi transfer required between locations). 2:00-4:30 PM: Traditional Chinese costume photoshoot experience. Choose between floral hairpins or Hanfu attire, depending on the outfits available in the studio. 5:00 PM: The tour concludes at Xiaohe Straight Street, with the guide offering dinner restaurant recommendations.
