Our tour guide, Xiaopeng, was professional, responsible, meticulous, and thoughtful. He possessed extensive professional knowledge and was extremely dedicated to his work, adding much color to our trip. Throughout the journey, he patiently and meticulously explained the historical background and cultural significance of each attraction, giving us a deeper understanding of the places we visited. Whether it was ancient architecture, unique customs, or local cuisine, he could eloquently describe everything, ensuring our trip was both enjoyable and worry-free. Sanxingdui is incredibly popular; the crowds were immense. Without a guide, I doubt I could have lasted three hours. Teacher Liu led us through the throngs, introducing each important artifact one by one. From the details of the artifacts to the excavation process, from the manufacturing techniques to the underlying cultural concepts and information about cultural exchange, he explained everything in detail – it was truly eye-opening! His explanations were insightful yet easy to understand, giving the artifacts various nicknames, making them anything but boring. At the same time, he was incredibly knowledgeable, citing original texts and different academic perspectives with ease, even incorporating the latest academic developments from June 2025 into his explanations. He constantly refined his presentation, keeping things up-to-date – I'm so curious how he does it! I took notes the whole way, but the sheer volume of information meant my notes weren't complete; I'll have to find more relevant materials to supplement them later!

This trip was great with the kids! They wanted to go to the Panda Base, and I wanted to see the Leshan Giant Buddha. I'm so glad this itinerary was available! We originally booked a small group tour (2-8 people), but when we arrived, we found out we were the only ones there – nice! Our driver/guide, Mr. Shen, was excellent and very friendly. The day trip was a bit tight, but very fulfilling. Mr. Shen planned everything very well, accurately telling us the times, and then dropped us off at the hotel – saving us time and effort. It's perfect for families like ours with kids – very satisfied!


