▲ ▼Kitano Ijinkan Street (about 1 hour, free activity) Kobe built a large number of Western-style buildings during the Meiji and Taisho periods, and they are now well preserved in the Kitano area of Chuo Ward. The area from Yamamoto-dori 1-chome to 3-chome in Kitano is known as Kitano Ijinkan Street, and most of them were private residences of foreign merchants or foreign embassies and consulates.
