During our stay in Porto, we wondered over to Gaia, took the gondola down and ended up in WOW, it did not disappoint! We purchased the daily pass and made the most use costing 5 museums over the afternoon. We saw Planet Cork, Wine Experience, the Chocolate Story, Pink Palace and the history of Porto! The staff throughout the whole place were very pleasant, answered all our questions. These are all self guided tours. Planet cork was amazing, didn't realize how much you could do with this. The wine experience tour was just as good so much info on wine. With a tasting at the end by Joao who was also great! The Chocolate Story was next and we had a great time enjoying chocolate from all the different stations and learning of its long history! again, the staff was awesome! The pink palace was really fun and definitely a instragram worthy opportunity at every turn! And finally the history of Porto! If you're looking for a great experience for wine, history and fun visit WOW!!

Perfect day and just a little shorter than the other tours because you only do one wine tasting. Perfect because I don’t drink that much but love to visit wineries. And my family doesn’t like super long tours so this was perfect. The cruise was beautiful and the meal at the winery was delicious. Just a perfect way to enjoy the Douro valley.

I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone, particularly if you’re on your own! Our tour guide was Diogo, he was very good at making conversation and helped us learn a lot about life in the national park. The fact he had a strong relationship with the local people meant they were happy to show us their local traditions. Overall a great day, thank you!

The World of Discovery was very good! Interactive and informative! Loved the boat ride in the Discovery building! Ask for English/your language! The River Cruise was pretty short. The guide did not tell us we needed to download an app to hear about the sites. We missed alot of the information because we thought we were getting audio devices. Frustrating

This is a very well organized day trip. Food was very good and plentiful as was the wine. This is as close to a personal tour as you can get. the partnerships with the vineyards are exclusive so you don't end up meeting piles of tour buses at each stop. no crowds, very clean organized venues. Value is exceptional for this tour. Our guide Jose was fantastic and worked hard throughout the day ensuring we were educated on the region, wines, and foods. I've taken many, many tours in different countries and this was by far the most satisfying. Nice Job!!!


