Reviews: Retro KGB Tour: A Volga 21 Adventure in Yerevan's Soviet Past with photography

Although I am not sure the title specifically matches the tour, I spent 2 lovely hours with a great guide and driver in a Volga from 1960. This excursion turned out great for me because I am super interested in old cars and I am not sure where else I'd ever have a chance to cruise around in the back of a Volga. Just to set expectations not much was specifically planned out so if you're good going with the flow than this excursion would be for you :-)

Amazing sites. The tour should have been in one language. athe guide was more comfortable in Russian. the few English speakers were like an add-on. The minibus selected was too small for the group. the back seats were cramped and uncomfortable. you could not see out the windows. the guide resolved this by sitting on a box and giving up her seat to two passengers. this was very kind and creative, but a larger vehicle would have been better. The sites were incredible. We did not care for the food at the lunch, but the art there was unique.
Reviews: From Tbilisi: Armenia Day Trip to Lake Sevan, Yerevan, and Sevanavank Monastery
Guest User2025-12-20
This day trip from Tbilisi to Armenia was an amazing experience. Everything was very well organized and perfectly matched the description. The itinerary was balanced, with enough time to enjoy each location without feeling rushed. Lake Sevan was absolutely beautiful, Yerevan was vibrant and interesting, and Sevanavank Monastery had stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The transportation was comfortable, and the tour service was professional and friendly throughout the day. A special thank you to our driver and guide, Moris, who was very kind, knowledgeable, and made the journey even more enjoyable. As a solo traveler, I felt very comfortable and safe during the entire trip. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the highlights of Armenia in one day.

Reviews: Private sightseeing and walking tour in Yerevan
Guest User2024-08-16
This was a great way to get the feel and layout of the city. Driving in Yerevan is an adventure, and our driver, Ararat, navigated everything competently. Our guide, Rafi was a pleasure. His English was great, he was nice, funny, and educational. The tour was a combination of driving and walking, which allowed us to learn about the area around the city center. All of the sites were described well with the perfect blend of historical, political, and religious background to understand the city. Doing this as a private tour was a good value and allowed us to spend more or less time as we preferred. I highly recommend using them for your travel needs.
