Ancient Longzhong > Xiangyang Ancient City > Mi Fu Memorial Temple Attraction Family Services
In the morning, head to the Ancient Longzhong Scenic Area in Xiangyang. This was the retreat of Zhuge Liang, the renowned prime minister of the Shu Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms period, during his youth. The story of Liu Bei's three visits to the thatched cottage originates from here. Ancient Longzhong features the "Ten Scenes of Longzhong," including the Thatched Cottage Pavilion, Farming Fields, Three Visits Hall, Small Rainbow Bridge, Hexagonal Well, Wuhou Shrine, Half-Moon Stream, Old Dragon Cave, Liangfu Rock, and the Knee-Hugging Stone, allowing visitors to relive this historical period.
Then, head to Xiangyang Ancient City, a landmark of Xiangyang and one of the best-preserved ancient cities in China. Once a strategic military stronghold, climbing the ancient city walls offers a panoramic view of Xiangyang's entire landscape.
The final stop is a visit to Mi Fu Memorial Temple, built in honor of Mi Fu, one of the "Four Great Masters of the Song Dynasty," and also one of Xiangyang's iconic attractions. The temple's ancient courtyard architecture and various calligraphy steles showcase the cultural charm of Xiangyang Ancient City.
