▲ Among Langkawi's many islands, New Pulau Beras Basah has no excessive artificial embellishments or commercial glitz, only the sound of the wind gently rustling through the primeval forest. The waters around the island are clear with excellent visibility, making it a great spot for snorkeling or a simple swim. Although not as famous as the mangrove reserve, it stands out for being niche and quiet. Put on your snorkeling mask, and you'll see colorful coral reefs and schools of small fish swimming through them underwater. New Pulau Beras Basah covers an area of approximately 8.6 square kilometers and is covered with dense tropical rainforest. It is home to various wildlife, including monitor lizards (giant lizards), monkeys, various tropical birds, and countless rare plants.

▲ One of the most incredible experiences at the new Pulau Beras Basah is feeding eagles at sea. The boat anchors in the waters near the island, and the captain throws out food. In moments, dozens, or even hundreds, of brown eagles and white-bellied sea eagles swoop in from all directions. They either circle high in the sky or dive low over the sea, wings spread wide, majestic and powerful. Each time they plunge into the water to catch prey is a visual feast. In this azure world, watching eagles soar and listening to waves crash on the shore feels like stepping into a BBC nature documentary.

▲ Pulau Dayang, located south of Langkawi's main island, is a must-visit spot on island-hopping tours. From a distance, the island's undulating mountains resemble a reclining pregnant woman – with a distinct head, swollen belly, and legs. The continuous mountain range looks like a woman nurturing life, serene and sacred, a stunning testament to nature's craftsmanship. Legend has it that long ago, a fairy fell in love with a mortal, and they conceived a child here. Unfortunately, the child died prematurely, and the heartbroken fairy buried the child in the lake, which then became imbued with a miraculous blessing.

▲ As the speedboat heads toward quieter waters, the captain will anchor at prime fishing spots teeming with fish. Under the guidance of professional crew members, even complete beginners can easily get started... The fishing areas are typically abundant with fish, commonly including small tuna, groupers, and mackerel. Each catch is a precious gift from the sea.

▲ The freshly caught fish can be partially processed right on the island. With staff assistance for simple preparation, the fish is grilled into an incredibly authentic seafood BBQ. Just pulled from the ocean, the fish is extraordinarily fresh with tender, juicy meat. Paired with island BBQ fare—grilled chicken wings, seafood, fragrant Malay-style fried rice, and chilled drinks—enjoy an unparalleled island barbecue experience between sunshine and sea breeze.
