I traveled using a Eurail pass. It was cheaper than other sites, including points redemption, so I used it. I recommend it if you travel long distances a lot. I'll definitely consider it for my next trip to Europe.

Definitely buy tickets in advance! Otherwise you'll be stuck in a long queue and have to wait. We went as a family and we all had a wonderful time!


