The catamaran was a change in plan. And we’re not notified that the wooden boat was not available. However due the winds and roughness of the sea! It was a good change. The mate was attentive to our needs and tried to explain without hesitation to area , the rock’s formation. The food was a lite fare of chicken, sausage, salad, beans. Dips. It was delicious. The swimming stops were amazing and we took full advantage of the opportunity even though it was refreshing temperatures. The sunset was perfect. So beautiful. It was a great afternoon.★

Our trip to Santorini would not have been as much fun as it was without doing this amazing trip with Santorini Star! We did the earlier boat tour and had such a smooth and fun day out. Pick up was very easy and the communication was very clear and organized - nearly the same day I made reservations, I received an email with information on the pick-up. Our hotel was within a maze of stairs and caverns in Oia so not super accessible for a pick-up, so the nearby post office was advised as the closest meeting point which was just a 5 minute walk and easy to find. The day before, I received a very clear and detailed text with the pick up info as well as a reminder. In fact, while waiting for pick-up, I sent a question to the number that sent me the reminder text and they replied nearly immediately, which I didn’t expect at all! So impressed with the communication.
The Captain and crew (Alexandra, Nefeli, Tzanis and Captain Vassilis) did a fantastic job to keep us engaged, safe, and having fun. They are all a fantastic team with clear knowledge and experience of yachting and the team was social but also very responsible. They managed the day in a way that did not make us feel rushed at all and kept things fun but well-managed. Very clever tactics like enticing us with fresh fruit to signal the end of a swimming break - no one was upset to come out of the water to fresh watermelon! ;) Know that the sea can be a bit rough but it was a fun ride and we felt safe with this experienced team.
The main meal served was exceptional and so impressive that it was cooked fresh while we were at sea. All the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The mussels were especially a big hit. I loved the chicken and shrimp especially, so flavorful. The team also took care to ask about dietary requests before cooking and took into account one of our group members being vegetarian.
It was a very reasonably sized group of about 15 people or less the day we went but size likely varies according to who signs up. But I don’t have the impression though that they would overcrowd the boat like many other companies do where there are likely too many people on a given vessel. The vessel itself is a beautiful boat, very clean and modern - one that likely would be showcased in a yacht show.

This deserves a serious review – it's "excellent value for money"! First, the pick-up and drop-off service: a clean and tidy van, a punctual and handsome driver, and if you happen to be staying in an area far from the pier and don't have a rental car, the round-trip transportation is practically a free island sightseeing experience – nice! Then there's the beautiful white catamaran, with a capacity of 20 people, but plenty of space; you can always find a place to lie down and sunbathe or escape the air conditioning. The three mooring points each have their own unique charm. The captain thoughtfully positioned the stern away from the sun, so you wouldn't get sunburned while swimming… The buffet was quite plentiful, but I was a bit seasick at the time, so I couldn't eat too much. After dinner, there were a series of pleasant surprises… The lovely crew first brought blueberry jam with yogurt… sunset champagne… and then we chased the sunset, opening bottles until the sun completely disappeared below the horizon. Everyone applauded – it felt like the end of the world! It was truly one of the most beautiful sunsets of my life.
