Route Introduction

Take off from Queenstown and fly over the rugged region of Central Otago before heading west to the glacially fed Lake Wakatipu for some of New Zealand's most stunning scenery. This unique flight from Queenstown to Milford Sound will take you over secluded alpine lakes, lush rainforests, through lush valleys and rugged peaks.

Experience unparalleled views of the world-famous Milford Sound/Piopiotahi and the iconic Mitre Peak as we fly into the heart of Fiordland.

On the way back to Queenstown, the pilot will take us through the amazing glacier landscape, witnessing the towering ice formations and huge glaciers created by the power of nature. Before returning to Queenstown, we will land on one of the glaciers and take photos standing on the ancient glacier.
