We booked the "Round-the-Island Star Cute Journey" train online, boarding at Taichung Railway Station at approximately 7:18 PM.
The train has six carriages: carriages 3 through 6 are business class, and carriages 1 and 2 are the dining car and activity carriages.
The business class carriages have a 1+2 seating arrangement. The train offers drinks and food, but on the Taichung to Taipei route, only all-you-can-drink drinks are available.
Passengers can sing karaoke and do crafts in the activity carriages, and also enjoy drinks in the dining car. The restaurant also offers stamp collection items and souvenirs. Our two-hour journey was completely enjoyable.Trip.com Picks
