Overall, it was great, deserving full marks. The price was excellent, and a day trip for just over 300 yuan was incredibly worthwhile. Hotel pick-up and drop-off were hassle-free, and the speedboat was relatively smooth, preventing seasickness. Upon arriving on the island, I was amazed by the fine white sand and crystal-clear water. Snorkeling revealed a plethora of tropical fish and corals, and there were also free Instagram-worthy activities and bubble parties.

I think this is a very worthwhile part of Kota Kinabalu; the fireflies are beautiful, and the tour guide is excellent. Aside from the slightly bumpy ride on the main road, there are no other downsides.

Unfortunately, it rained a few days ago and I couldn't go to Huantan Island and Mermaid Island. In fact, you can buy a ferry ticket to the island at Jesston Pier, and you don't need to follow the group. Today includes lunch, but it is necessary to gather head, take a taxi to gather.
