This was my first time visiting the panda base with a private tour. Our guide, Xiao Liu, was incredibly thoughtful. He not only prepared local fruits for us to enjoy on the bus, but also arranged a sightseeing tour upon arrival at the base, minimizing our walking distance while maximizing our panda viewing experience. He even allowed us time for shopping – truly fantastic!! The driver was both smooth and efficient, ensuring a comfortable return to the hotel for a rest!!★

I was incredibly lucky to join a small group tour led by guide Xiao Wu. The pace was relaxed yet covered all the important points, making sightseeing very efficient. If we were traveling independently, we definitely wouldn't know where to begin, but with Xiao Wu, we could see everything we wanted to see in the most relaxed way! We were having fun the whole time, with no spending requirements. Xiao Wu was also very patient, waiting for us, and his commentary was excellent throughout. At the panda base, he knew the whereabouts and stories of each panda like the back of his hand, and honestly told us how long the wait would be to see the flowers, allowing us to choose what we wanted to see. The explanation of Dujiangyan was even more captivating. Guide Xiao Wu was very familiar with Dujiangyan and provided us with an engaging explanation, giving us a deeper understanding of how magnificent this engineering feat is. This travel experience was truly excellent, and I will definitely travel with Xiao Wu again if I want to travel in the future!★

We had an amazing day visiting Dujiangyan! First, Panda Valley, followed by a delicious lunch on the Old City Street. We also stayed to enjoy the beautiful lights on the South Bridge. It was heaps of fun! Our tour guide, Kelly, was absolutely the best. We became friends, and she kindly took photos for us. She was extremely patient and made the experience even more special. Highly recommend!★

For any traveler seeking a deep and seamless cultural experience, this tour is a top-tier choice. The organization was impeccable, with a perfectly paced itinerary that comfortably covered all advertised sites at both Qingcheng Mountain (青城山) and the Dujiangyan (都江堰), beginning with a perfectly timely hotel pickup. The guide system was particularly effective; we had a dedicated English-speaking guide whose passion and deep knowledge brought the history of the region to life. She didn't just show us ancient sites - she connected the ingenious principles of the 2,000-year-old irrigation system directly to its vital role in Sichuan today, which was fascinating. A crucial piece of advice: ensure you have WeChat installed. Our guide used a chat to align the hotel pickup and share route details. An absolutely first-class, educational, and enjoyable day.
