Take a scenic cruise aboard a vintage coal-fired steamship to Walter Peak High Country Farm. Set sail from Queenstown on the TSS Earnslaw and enjoy views of the sparkling Lake Wakatipu. Listen to the classic tunes of the onboard pianist, see the original steam engine that has been running since 1912, or visit the mini museum to see exhibits about the history of this old steamship. Upon arrival at Walter Peak High Country Farm, enjoy morning or afternoon refreshments. Wander through the lakeside gardens and soak up the idyllic scenery surrounded by the Alps before taking a guided walk on the farm. The farm owner will introduce you to livestock such as sheep, highland cattle, deer and goats, learn about traditional herding methods during a sheepdog demonstration, and watch the art of wool shearing. At the end of your tour, board the steamship back to Queenstown.

• Convenient meeting point: The Departure Pier is close to public transportation (Queenstown city center).
• Applicable people: Most travelers can participate, no strict physical requirements.
• Steamship Maintenance: TSS Earnslaw will be undergoing scheduled maintenance from 19 May to 8 September, during which time another quality vessel, the Spirit of Queenstown, will be operating the same itinerary experience.
• Each group has a maximum of 100 people to ensure comfortable space on board and for farm activity.
• If you need a wheelchair or special assistance, please indicate this when booking so that we can arrange boarding assistance in advance.
• During the maintenance period, the facilities and service standards of the replacement ship will remain unchanged, and refreshments, guided tours and interactive experiences will still be provided.
