A really great tour! I was picked up from my hotel on time, after which we explored Mindello. That took about an hour. Then we drove around the island a bit, as described. A cup of tea or coffee at the top with a small rum tasting (included). The tour continued north to Calhau. We had a delicious meal there (not included). The guide was very friendly and informative. Excellent!

Always accompanied by our guide Sery, we traveled today to the heart of the Ribera Valley, from Barca to a refreshing waterfall where we enjoyed a refreshing walk. We observed the local flora and fauna, including baobab trees, monkeys, and fruit trees. We ended our visit at a unique rum distillery where we received a very warm welcome.
