We had a great time (daytime route). The bus also offers an optional boat ride to the city (only there, immediately upon arrival) for 80 and a cable car (roundtrip) for 160. There weren't many people on the wall. In the evening, both the city and the Great Wall are beautifully illuminated.

I had the opportunity to travel to Gubei Water Town near Beijing, which was definitely worth the trip. The tour guide explained in detail and the main attractions were impressive. As soon as I entered the door, I was deeply attracted by a pond of carp. The colorful and large carp swam freely in the water, as if I were in it. I don’t have time to go to the Jiangnan water town, so I came here for a stroll on the weekend, and my mood immediately became relaxed. The long corridors, the ancient houses on both sides, the deep water in the middle, and the beautiful scenery everywhere made me overwhelmed and dazzled. I really want to grow two more eyes to take in this beautiful scenery. Being here made me feel the slow pace of life. Walking in this scene, my soul was as clear as if it was washed by clear water. The attractions that impressed me the most are still vivid in my mind. The Qinglansujing cloth in the courtyard of Yongshun Dyeing Factory is hung high, and it is refreshing to walk through it; Sima The whole process of wine making in the small distillery and the huge cellar dazzled me; the performance of the Zhenyuan Bidding Bureau, with its qigong throat-holding spear, was shocking to me; the brightly lit Gubei Water Town at night was even more breathtaking: the musical fountain on Wangjing Street was a marvelous experience combining auditory and visual senses; at night, tourists gathered at the Sun and Moon Island, and the Kongming lanterns rose slowly, as if mailing my thoughts to distant places; the drone show was even more colorful and eye-catching... The boat ride in Gubei Water Town must be checked out. There were a few people sitting leisurely, and the rowing master rowed slowly, slowing down everything. The comfort in my heart was beyond words, and I left reluctantly, still wanting more. I will definitely come again in the future, not just once or twice, but many times. I really like Beijing's Jiangnan Water Town

It's the perfect season to visit Gubei Water Town. The weather is cool, not hot at all, and you feel refreshed. September is the off-season, and there are few people in the scenic area. The beautiful scenery is so charming, and there are only a few people there. It's very pleasant. The scenery in the scenic area is so beautiful. The deep green water of the oil painting is winding and straight, and the ancient houses on both sides have their own characteristics. Every scenery makes me linger and return. The memory is still fresh. I feel that one visit is not enough. The tour guide's explanation is very good, and there is no waste of time. The day's itinerary is full. I am very satisfied with this trip.

Here are a few examples of positive reviews for visiting Gubei Water Town that incorporate descriptions of the Simatai Great Wall. I hope they'll be helpful: ### Copy 1 🎉I recently visited Gubei Water Town. The experience was truly amazing, and I had to share it! Entering Gubei Water Town feels like stepping into a paradise on earth that blends the charms of both the north and the south. Winding bluestone paths flanked by quaint buildings, the river gurgles, reflecting everything on the banks like a flowing ink painting. But the most unique aspect of Gubei Water Town is its intricate interplay with the Simatai Great Wall. Strolling along the path through the water town, you'll arrive at the foot of the Simatai Great Wall. Looking up, the Simatai Great Wall, like a giant dragon coiling between the mountains, is so majestic and imposing that it's impossible not to be awed. The ancient city walls, though slightly tarnished by the passage of time, add a touch of historical depth to the experience. Every brick and stone seems to tell a story of the past, and in some places, traces of erosion remain, like a unique mark left by time. Climbing the Great Wall, one can gaze upon the vast expanse of mountains. In the sunlight, the mountains appear in shades of green, like a gorgeous carpet covering the earth. Gubei Water Town, nestled at the foot of the Great Wall, its white walls, black tiles, and flowing bridges create a striking yet harmonious contrast with the majestic Great Wall, like a gentle lady nestled beside a hero, imbued with a unique charm. During the day, the water town's sunlight bathes the river, shimmering with light. Cruise ships ply the water, and the colorful dyed fabrics of the Yongshun Dyeing Workshops on both sides flutter in the wind, creating a vibrant scene. At night, the town is even more breathtaking! The Great Wall Musical Water Dance Show, a dazzling display of light and music, shimmered with dazzling brilliance. Fountains rose and fell to the rhythm, and the surrounding ancient buildings were illuminated with a dreamlike shimmer. Then there was the drone-powered Kongming Lantern Show, where individual "Kongming" lanterns formed beautiful patterns in the night sky, complementing the Simatai Great Wall. It seamlessly intertwined the romance of antiquity with the wonder of modern times, transporting one to a fairyland, leaving one mesmerized and reluctant to leave. When it comes to cultural experiences, Gubei Water Town offers a wealth of experiences. At the Zhenyuan Escort Agency, you can explore the legendary lives of ancient escorts and try your hand at traditional arts like paper cutting and tie-dyeing, truly immersing yourself in the charm of traditional culture. After a tiring day, the streetside teahouses offer the perfect place to relax, listen to opera, and enjoy a cup of tea, a relaxing and relaxing experience. Accommodation and dining are impeccable, with a wide variety of hotels and B&Bs, each beautifully decorated and charming, creating a warm and comfortable stay. The food is incredibly diverse, ranging from authentic northern snacks to exquisite Jiangnan specialties. Every bite is truly memorable, satisfying every palate. In short, the combination of Gubei Water Town and Simatai Great Wall is a stunning feast of history and modernity, grandeur and elegance. The scenery, culture, and amenities are all top-notch. I highly recommend it to everyone.

I recently visited Gubei Water Town, and it was such a fantastic experience I couldn't recommend it enough! Stepping into Gubei Water Town, it felt like being transported to a dreamlike Jiangnan water town, yet it also possesses the grandeur and grandeur unique to northern China. This unique blend of north and south charm is truly captivating. The winding river, lined with quaint buildings, and the bluestone pavement stretching beneath your feet, feels like turning the pages of history with every step. During the day, sunlight shimmers on the river, creating ripples as pleasure boats glide slowly across the water. Along the banks, a dazzling array of shops line the landscape, and the colorful dyed fabrics swaying in the wind at the Yongshun Dyeing Workshop create a breathtaking spectacle, inviting photos. At night, the town is breathtakingly beautiful! The Great Wall Musical Water Dance Show, choreographed by lights and music, creates a dazzling audiovisual feast. The rhythmic fountains illuminate the surrounding ancient buildings, creating a dreamlike experience. Then there's the drone-mounted Kongming Lantern Show, where individual "Kongming Lanterns" form wondrous patterns in the sky. Set against the backdrop of the Simatai Great Wall, the scene is like a fairyland, a truly unforgettable experience. Speaking of which, we have to mention the cultural experiences in Gubei Water Town. It's truly rich! You can visit the Zhenyuan Escort Agency to learn about the stories of ancient escorts, and even try your hand at traditional arts like paper cutting and tie-dyeing, immersing you in the charm of traditional culture. When you're tired, just sit in a streetside teahouse, listen to opera, and enjoy a cup of tea—how relaxing! There's no need to worry about accommodations or dining either. Choose from a variety of hotels and B&Bs, each with exquisite and charming interiors, creating a truly cozy and inviting stay. The food is endlessly diverse, from authentic northern snacks to exquisite Jiangnan cuisine, each bite a truly memorable experience. In short, Gubei Water Town is impeccable in terms of scenery, culture, and amenities. I highly recommend it! You won't regret visiting!
Product details

Beijing W Town is located in Miyun County, Beijing, with a history of over a thousand years. Its quaint and elegant charm, rows of traditional houses, old stone-paved streets, and long alleys all showcase the northern townscape of the Republican era. Even in the cold winter, its beauty remains captivating. The town is crisscrossed with waterways, where ancient branches of the Tanghe River meander through. Historic buildings and residences are built along the water. During summer and fall, you can take a boat ride on the green waves and listen to the boatman recount the town's history.

Great Wall At Simatai is an ancient section of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall that retains its original appearance. The Great Wall At Simatai stands on steep, rugged terrain with an awe-inspiring construction scale. Viewed from below, it stretches across the horizon against the blue sky, appearing both majestic and perilous with drifting clouds. The mountain ridges resemble clustered fingers, forming a distinctive two-way staircase pattern.
