Missing the bus by a twist of fate led to a tense and exciting start, but thankfully I participated in the entire trip and it was a great memory. I communicated effortlessly with our Chinese-speaking guide, Gon, a very warm and responsible Korean young man. He was always eager to help, offering to take photos, and proactively recommending good restaurants and beautiful scenery. He even gave me lovely postcards. A fantastic day trip!★

🌳 3 Must-Do Things at Amanohashidate
1️⃣ Climb to the top of "Umbrella Pine Park" for a bird's-eye view of the sandbar
→ Take the cable car to the top (round trip ¥720), and take a "reverse Fuji" composition from the viewpoint overlooking the sea.
→ Hidden spot: The west side of the observation deck at the top of the mountain offers a stunning view of the sandbar and the Aso Sea side-by-side!
2️⃣ Walk barefoot on the "Natural White Sand Beach"
→ Take off your shoes and walk on 2km of pure white sand. The seawater washing over your ankles at high tide is incredibly soothing.
→ Rent a bicycle (¥500/hour) and chase seagulls along the sandbar, feeling the shape of the wind.
3️⃣ Visit "Chieunji Temple" for amulets
→ Vermilion torii gates paired with century-old pine trees; seek amulets for academic success/marriage (from ¥800).
→ Touch the "Manjushri Wisdom Wheel" and spin it three times; legend says it will make you smarter!★

Our tour guide, Mou Xiaoqing, provided detailed explanations and recommended good restaurants. Our driver, Brother Cui, drove safely and steadily, and his skill in passing oncoming traffic on narrow bends was exceptional. We are very grateful to both of them for ensuring our happy trip and safe return home! Although the time was a bit tight due to traffic congestion, I would definitely book this tour again next time!★
