"Impression of West Lake" is a large-scale landscape performance with the West Lake in Hangzhou as the background, which perfectly integrates the natural beauty with human history and culture. The performance is directed by the "iron triangle" director team composed of Zhang Yimou, Wang Chaoge and Fan Yue. Since its premiere on March 30, 2007, it has been well received by the audience.

Impression of West Lake skillfully combines the natural scenery of West Lake with its profound historical and cultural heritage, presenting a dreamlike night view of West Lake to the audience through unique stage design and lighting effects. The show draws creative inspiration from timeless love stories such as Xu Xian and White Snake, Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai, and deeply explores the ancient folk legends and myths of Hangzhou in order to reproduce the representative elements of human history and culture of West Lake.

First show: 19:40-20:35 (regular opening hours)

Duration: 55 minutes

Second performance: 21:10-22:05 (open on statutory holidays)

3. Admission

Before the show starts, the Impression West Lake ticket system will send a text message starting with "Impression West Lake" to the mobile phone number you provided. Please scan the QR code in the received text message to enter the venue.

4. No refund or exchange after booking

After the reservation is successful, no refund or exchange will be accepted. Please arrange your time reasonably.

5. Performances on rainy days

The performance will go on as usual on rainy days. The auditorium is equipped with rain shelters. If the venue needs to be closed due to circumstances or the performance is cancelled due to force majeure such as typhoons, we will notify you in time to arrange for rescheduling or ticket refunds.
