Ms. Xu's guided tour of Sanxingdui was fantastic! She brought the historical stories and archaeological anecdotes behind the bronze sacred tree and the protruding-eyed mask to life in a vivid and engaging way. Her explanations were logically clear and highlighted the key points. Following her, the previously obscure ancient Shu civilization suddenly became vibrant and fascinating – a truly rewarding experience! She also actively guided us to observe the details of the artifacts. She was incredibly enthusiastic throughout, maintaining a perfect pace without rushing us. This trip to Sanxingdui was made all the more meaningful by her! I also want to commend the driver! Punctual, reliable, and a skilled driver, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey. Fantastic short tour - pick up bang on time, tour leader Barry very informative, clear and funny, his English was perfect. Although he warned us that there is no guarantee that we will see lots of pandas we were lucky and saw lots of very active pandas, including ones that were still very young and were playing with their mums.The tour only visits about half of the site but with limited time in Chengdu this was more than enough. We probably had about 2 hours on site in total but Barry knew shortcuts to help us get around quickly. Highly recommended!

The tour guide is the key. I was fortunate to meet Rong Yiman tour guide in Chengdu. The explanation of the language is witty and humorous, and the professionalism is strong. The explanation of Du Gong's life is in-depth and shallow, so that the historical picture of thousands of years ago is slowly unfolded in our minds.
