How to get a Skyliner - It varies by station, but there are places where you can get it yourself or go to a specific ticket booth to get it! (Fast and convenient!)/ For the subway, you can just go to a nearby ticket machine and get it. It was really convenient. I carried it around in a small card wallet and it didn't break, which was nice. The 72 hours start counting down once you start using it, so I used it effectively for 3 nights and 4 days, and I think I used it almost 15 times a day. It doesn't work on JR, so you have to buy it separately when going to Disney!

The 72‑hour Tokyo Subway pass saved us time and money while exploring central Tokyo. It covers Tokyo Metro + Toei Subway lines and gave us unlimited rides for three full days, which made hopping between neighborhoods (Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza, Asakusa) effortless. Activation is simple — the timer starts the first time you pass through a gate — so activate it when you begin a full day of sightseeing to get the most value. We paired the pass with a Suica card for JR lines and airport transfers, which worked well.

The atmosphere was great, the air was fresh, and the view was stunning. We could see Mount Fuji clearly up close, it was well worth the wait. It was so much fun speeding through Tokyo at night. I felt like I was in the fast and the furious. Nine people signed up for the tour, so there were three cars. They kept moving us around so we could all ride. It lasted four hours, and I didn't want it to end. The only thing that marred the experience was that we got a flat tire in a tunnel and had to stand there for half an hour, freezing, waiting for another car. But that wasn't the guys' fault. It happens. They handled it professionally, and even after the tour ended, they finished our program. I recommend it to everyone; you won't regret it. Just be sure to dress warmly, as it gets cold outside in the winter. We also had the convertible top on.

Let me start by saying that we had a comfortable and enjoyable trip there and back. But I think I'll add some important information below, as the description of this event was a bit confusing to me. As I understand it, this is a separate carrier that also departs from bus stations (yes, stations have bus departure zones with separate exits and schedules). When booking, as stated, even if you selected a time and date, they might not be available. Our date was already inconvenient. But they offered to change it to another day, which we did. They responded quickly, but perhaps because of the translator, it was sometimes difficult to understand what was meant. I wouldn't say they were as friendly as we're used to. But I think we figured it out. Tickets are emailed separately with the changed date and time after you've confirmed it with support.


