I highly recommend this trip with Betty as our helpful guide, combining two unique experiences in one day. Lantau Island is serene and rich in buddhist culture with majestic statues and beautiful temples. Tai O fishing village gives a peek into simple local life with small shops, places to eat, and people whose lives revolve around the fishing economy. Definitely take the boat ride in the village, its worth it even if you don't see dolphins. No need to pay extra for the glass floor cable car, the ride is long and the views are spectacular from the regular cars. Betty was such a good guide, she is organized, knowledgeable, very friendly, and funny! Overall great trip for good value.

I think it's very convenient to buy cash vouchers on Trip.com and use the QR code to instantly redeem soup dumplings at Hung Fook Tong. The light show wasn't really worth it-I would go again but just for the night lights/maybe the sunset. Calty(?) was really nice though. She took great pictures of me and fetched the "VIP"s on this ticket drinks and snacks! Thanks so much!
