The excursion was organized perfectly. A punctual driver picked us up from our hotel and took us to the pier. A delicious lunch and cheerful company awaited us on the boat. The cruise took us along the picturesque Lijiang River. We admired the extraordinary beauty!

Very comfortable and definitely 5 star. The pick up was on time. The driver was very polite and helpful. The amenities in the boat were exceptional including the varied buffet options. Unfortunately the drinks on board were a little high in price so I would suggest you stick to the free tea and the free drink options with lunch. The boat ride was smooth and relaxing. Overall a wonderful day out and once in a lifetime experience.

The cruise itself, as a means of transport from Guilin to Yangshuo, is a good option, but there are some caveats. It's a long journey. A taxi from hotel to hotel takes about 1.5-2 hours. By boat, including transfer to your hotel and waiting time for departure, it's about seven hours. Our ship didn't stop anywhere, although other ships regularly stopped at beautiful spots. And the announcements for such spots weren't obvious. Because of this, we missed the view of the Seven Horses. The buffet was quite decent, and the views themselves, which are the main reason for the cruise, were wonderful.

This is a great itinerary. My father and I thoroughly enjoyed our day. Our driver was fantastic. He was a very careful and thoughtfull driver and kept us informed about where we were and what we were doing. Everything was done for us, we didn't have to worry about anything! I love the experience. Calm, relaxing and full of astounding sceneries unfolding before our eyes. The catering was great and we really enjoyed the cruise. Would definitely recommend.
