▲ Originally known as the White Water River Falls, also called "Huanggeshu" Waterfall or "Huangjueshu" Waterfall, it was named after the widespread presence of "Huangge" banyan trees in the area. Located in Zhenning Buyei and Miao Autonomous County, Anshun City, Guizhou Province, China, it belongs to the Kebu River section of the Baishui River, a tributary of the Dabang River, which is part of the Beipan River system—a branch of the Nanpan River in the main stream of the Pearl River's Xijiang River. It is one of the world's most famous waterfalls, renowned for its immense water volume. The waterfall stands 77.8 meters tall, with its main drop measuring 67 meters, and spans 101 meters in width, with the main crest stretching 83.3 meters wide. Huangguoshu Waterfall is a typical erosional fissure-type waterfall in karst terrain.
