Melonie was amazing, no complaints at all. Even though the weather was not ideal, she kept her cool, and was very nice to everyone. The meeting point was easy to find, she sent very thoughtful instructions on WhatsApp before our visit. We connected on WeChat so if someone got lost they could call her and if we had any questions she answered patiently. She sends additional info on what to see, where to go, where to eat etc.★

Tour Guide William led the tour in English. He was so enthusiastic that we barely noticed it was over. Despite the crowds around us, our group didn't miss a word. Each section of the tour flowed seamlessly from the previous one and was immediately reinforced by artifacts. His excellent knowledge of English heightened our interest in the story. At the end of the tour, he gave us some pointers on which rooms and floors we should explore on our own. If you have time, be sure to sign up for a tour with William. You'll have to book in advance and get up early, but trust me, it's worth it. The guide really engages everyone with his passion for Chinese history.
