My friends and I had a wonderful experience in the forbidden city! Our tour guide, Dan, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the forbidden city with many fascinating stories to tell. We were worried we wouldn’t find our tour guide within the sea of people when first meeting up but we found him very easily with the instructions given to us the day before. Everything was very well organised and the tour went smoothly. I was very impressed with the Dan’s history knowledge, from the roof tops down to the floor tiles, everything had history to it. Our tour guide was also very interactive with us, making the experience more fun and lively. Overall I really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it!! ⭐️

We were extremely satisfied with the guided tour of the Temple of Heaven booked through Ctrip, and a special thank you to our guide, Xiao Cai! His explanations were not only rich and informative but also engaging, and he recommended great photo spots. His narration was clear and well-organized, incorporating anecdotes and interactive questions, making the entire tour captivating and never boring. He was able to adjust the route according to our pace, patiently answering questions with a friendly and professional attitude.

This private guided tour was absolutely worth it! A good guide is the soul of exploring historical sites. As Xiucai mentioned, our guide, Chen, was fantastic—a super in-depth explanation that highlighted all the essential details, without any of the superficial "been there, done that" kind of tour. With the kids, we learned so many interesting and informative stories about the Forbidden City. It was so much fun and enriching! I wish there was a longer option next time; we didn't get enough! We definitely want to hire Chen again next time we bring our parents and elders, haha ​​🤗
