Our tour guide, Xiao Chen, was lovely and wonderful! There were more places to eat than we expected, and fresh coconuts were available for purchase. The mountain road was a bit bumpy, but that was unavoidable given the environment. There was also a free farm where we could feed the animals, which were very cute. The staff on the boats to see the monkeys and fireflies were all very cheerful. It was a very worthwhile trip!

There aren't many reviews in Russian, so here goes! I enjoyed the trip: it was well organized, the bus was comfortable. The guide/driver explained everything and offered helpful tips along the way. The food was delicious. Most importantly, we saw fireflies, even though the full moon was still a couple of days away. We also got to admire the views of Malacca. Overall, it was fantastic!

I think this is a very worthwhile part of Kota Kinabalu; the fireflies are beautiful, and the tour guide is excellent. Aside from the slightly bumpy ride on the main road, there are no other downsides.


