Why was my itinerary limited to boarding at Dongdaemun, while other tour companies allowed boarding at Myeongdong and Hongdae? I was staying in Myeongdong, woke up at 6:00 AM, had breakfast, and rushed to Dongdaemun by subway at 7:40 AM. I even went to the wrong exit and boarded the wrong tour bus! After boarding at Dongdaemun, the tour bus drove back to Myeongdong subway station exit 8 to pick up other tourists. It felt like I was being tossed around between Dongdaemun and Myeongdong. The toboggan ride was thrilling, and feeding the seagulls shrimp chips was fun. The bicycles were very tiring; it took my friend and me 30 minutes to pedal back and forth 🤣🤣. The restaurant for lunch was delicious; it would have been better if the tour guide had been more attentive.

We went with my parents. They enjoyed the program – there was plenty to explore at the weaving factory, and they enjoyed the radish tea party. The "Instagram cafe" was also very impressive – it was fascinating to explore the interiors and stroll around the grounds. The buns there were reasonably priced and very tasty, but the coffee was expensive. We recommend the mugwort latte. At the traditional market, we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the offerings and even bought a few edible souvenirs. The downside is that half an hour is definitely not enough; you'd want more, as you need time to get your bearings and sometimes negotiate or explain things to the vendor. The royal lunch was interesting, the place was authentic. It was a great opportunity to try a variety of traditional fillings. However, be prepared that you won't like everything; you definitely won't be able to eat everything. Everyone loved the cars! Even my timid mom. Therefore, we definitely recommend booking two trips at once; the price isn't that high. Our driver was also very pleasant, calm, and helpful. We got everywhere on time and didn't worry about anything.

A trip to the Demilitarized Zone. It's mostly for immersing yourself in history and seeing the border. The cable car is truly optional and can be skipped. It offers views of the river and a small theme park at the exit. Skipping the cable car will give you more time for lunch. When visiting the tunnel, leave everything in a locker; it's warm down there, so you don't need a jacket (there will be some rain from the ceiling). Taller people over 175 might find it a bit difficult, as the tunnel is designed for shorter people. At the start of the tour, visit the suspension bridge, a nice photo spot.
