Very educational. Guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Loved learning about history of native people and West Africans in Brazil.

The booking of Your Tour was extremely easy and professional. Marco was lovely to talk with and worked with me to curate a one-of-a-kind experience, considering both my interests and time constraints. Payment was also very easy and seamless as well. Wilson was our tour guide and he is impeccable. His knowledge of Salvador’s history, culture, and customs is impressive and likely unmatched. He was kind, professional and funny, adding a unique twist to a tour of the city. Our driver, Heraldo, was safe, reliable and timely. Not only would I recommend this company and guide to anyone visiting Salvador, I look forward to booking them again when I return to the city.

I formative trip about the city, some key people who founded it, architecture and important buildings. There is however much more to see and you will be left with tips where to go on yoir own. You gonna also.learn about afro-brazilian parts and may visit few shops & restaurants where you experience local cusine and find local products. If you already know something about city or Brazil the trip may be tailored to your needs.

This was the highlight of my tours in Salvador! Wagner the guide has a deep social and anthropological knowledge of both Salvador and the places of this tour and the conversation was super interesting. This tour lets you see unforgettable places and more importantly gives you experiences of authenticity that complement and go beyond the other tours!
Reviews: Regular Tour to Forte Beach - Leaving Salvador by Bahia Top Turismo

The trip itself was good, and Rodriguez is an energetic guide, who clearly enjoys his job. Thank you... The organization of the trip, could be improved. The pick up time, at my hotel was identified as 07:00. Since I always endeavour to be on time, I was out front at 06:55. As I waited outside and saw 2 tour vans go by, I thought this is the one...no such luck, then 2 school buses go by. At 07:25 I text to ask what the delay is and I was informed that I needed to walk down to the main street and along to a bus stop, as the road I am on is too small. Clearly it is not given the traffic I saw go by. This 10 minute walk, wasn't such a big deal because I am fit - were I not it could have been an issue - I also didn't argue as my street is a one way and it would have added time to the route. I was finally picked up at 07:45 and we then we spent the next 45 ish minutes driving to the other hotels to collect the other participants. Forte Beach was timed well for me as I only wanted to do the Tamar Project and not the snorkeling or dune buggy and so I shopped. Lunch at Guarajuba Beach was excellent and the beach beautiful with plenty of time to enjoy both! The return trip also took a long time because of the additional time driving to everyone's hotels to drop them off. This added an hour, since I was 2nd last. Further, the same excuse about the road being to narrow was given and I was dropped off at the corner and had to walk up and since I spent most of the day sitting I didn't argue...Please do not tell me to be ready at 07:00 and make me wait. ~Addendum a huge dump truck went by this morning and actually backed into a construction site with no issues.
Reviews: Schooner Tour to Frades Islands and Itaparica, Leaving Salvador - Bahia

Our day started cloudy and with rain! Almost everyone on board wired swimsuits and coverup or board shorts but the rain coming into side of boats was a bit of a nuisance even though they had plastic tarps brought down to help guests not get wet, rains drain onto seats. There was a group of Brazilian musicians on board which made the trip delightful but beware they are independent band that expect “donations” of at least R$25 and we didn’t have any cash /reais with us and offered R$5 ready which is nothing but they rejected that, maybe they got offended but we didn’t gave PIX which is similar to Venmo in the states! Oh well 🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🥱 Once we arrive at first stop island called “Ilha dos Frades” Nice calm beach with clear warm water to bath in. The ocean water was very shallow and allowed us to go far into ocean which was cool. For worn all there will be local vendors selling drinks and if you’re an American with dollars every item is pretty inexpensive. In fact everything in Brazil is very inexpensive and your dollars go along way! We left that island to Itaparica island to have lunch. It cost us $15/pp (R$75/pp) and lunch although visually looked good it was not tasty. Bahia is known for their fish dishes but unfortunately at this location the fish had bones and smelled fishy could not eat it. Ended up sticking with chicken stroganoff with white rice was good; beef was so tough, and beans were good but that it. I hate that we were forced to go there instead of another place.
