You will travel with us from Queenstown through the Mackenzie Country into Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park, experiencing unique alpine views, and enjoy local leisure time in Mount Cook Village with walks or activities.

Start your day by meeting our friendly local guide in Queenstown. You'll travel in style aboard a premium Mercedes van designed specifically for tours, with only 16 seats. As we depart Queenstown, the first leg of our journey will take us through Central Otago's Gibbston and Cromwell wine regions. Then, we'll cross the striking Lindis Pass before making a brief stop in Omarama for refreshments and lunch at your own expense.

As we entered the Mackenzie Country, the landscape transformed, and our guide shared stories and fascinating facts while we traced the edge of the Southern Alps. Along the way, we passed the network of lakes and canals near Twizel, renowned for its fresh Mount Cook alpine salmon fishing. Once we left the main road, we traveled alongside the brilliant blue waters of Lake Pukaki before arriving at the village of Mount Cook.

Welcome to Mount Cook! Arriving around 12 noon, you'll have approximately 3.5 hours to leisurely explore.

You can enjoy a self-guided hiking trail, opt for an extraordinary sightseeing ski plane or helicopter flight at your own expense, or visit the Sir Edmund Hillary Centre.

Around 3:30 PM, reunite with our guide and van to begin the journey back to Queenstown. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenic views. The 1-day tour lasts approximately 12 hours, with our small vehicle and attentive guide ensuring your comfort and entertainment throughout the trip.
