Thank you to our tour guide, Xiao Liao. He first emailed us, clearly outlining all the pick-up details, and then, after we added each other on WeChat, he wrote out the entire itinerary in detail. He was incredibly polite and meticulous. The next morning, he was there early at the subway station with a piece of paper bearing his name on it to meet us. He provided commentary throughout the trip, switching between Chinese and English, and was very kind and friendly. We appreciated his companionship. Kudos to this hardworking and diligent young man! He made our trip even smoother and more fulfilling.ā

When traveling without wanting to plan ahead but still wanting to see the sights, signing up for a day tour is a hassle-free option. Based on Ctrip's reputation for reliable quality, I chose their day tour this time, and it was excellent. Our tour leader, Ms. Jiang, was incredibly helpful, from informing us of the meeting point before departure to providing directions at the end. She patiently explained each attraction, and I learned a great deal from her. A huge thank you to Ms. Jiang for treating us to delicious pudding at her own expense!
