Channy was super cute and a very good teacher. She offened us to visit the market before starting the class, so you see where you food comes from. Big recomondation! You pick out the meal you want to cook and the class get started. Ask all your questions, channy will have an answer for you!

Dinner and an introduction to the spirit and traditions of Cambodian culture through dance. We tried amok, a symbol of Khmer cuisine. Delicious! It is steamed using a special Khmer paste called kroeung, coconut milk, and an egg mixture, forming a soft pudding or soufflé. It is served at holidays, family dinners, and in hotels as a sign of respect for guests. The program consisted of five dances: 1. Prince PREAH REAM's journey to save his wife SITA from the demon king. 2. Dance of the cardamom harvest. 3. Dance of the peacocks. 4. Bokator Dance. Bokator, "the art of driving a lion," is an ancient martial art of Cambodia. 5. Apsara Dance. "Art is not what we see. It is what we feel. As long as someone remembers the dance of the apsaras, Cambodia is alive." "When I dance, I am not human. I am the spirit of an apsara, descended from the stone of Angkor."
These are the words of Princess Norodom Buppha Devi (1943–2019). International media and UNESCO called her "the last living apsara" and "the guardian of Cambodia's soul."★

We had such wonderful, authentic food on this tour. Delicious noodles, spring rolls, fresh rolls, and green onion cake to name a few, with everything freshly cooked to order. We even tried the bugs and frogs out in the market and they weren’t bad! Our guide Jan showed his passion and knowledge for the local cuisine, plus he was fun to hang out with and talk to. Bonus points for letting us make an extra stop to try balut!! The tuk tuks were such a fun way to travel around and still be able to see everything, and our drivers were super kind and helpful. I loved this tour and wouldn’t change anything!Trip.com Picks
