Our journey begins in the morning from Christchurch, crossing through the lush farmlands of the Canterbury Plains to reach Lake Tekapo, where you can see the iconic Church of the Good Shepherd standing alone beside the vibrant blue waters.
Leaving Tekapo, we continue into the Southern Alps towards Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park, one of New Zealand's most famous mountains. Along the way, your driver guide will share insights about the region's history and landmarks, offering both entertainment and knowledge about New Zealand.
The tour concludes in Aoraki / Mount Cook village, where you can optionally enjoy lunch at the famous Hermitage Hotel (at your own expense). Explore the village and immerse yourself in the views of Aoraki / Mount Cook as it towers above. You'll also have the opportunity to take a scenic flight over this stunning alpine region (weather permitting, additional fee required). The rest of the day is free for you to relax.
On the second day, you can choose to continue to Queenstown or return to Christchurch.
