▲ Leaving behind the hustle and bustle of Glasgow, we headed to Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. The flat lowland terrain soon gave way to rugged peaks, forest-covered valleys, and the sparkling waters of Loch Lomond. This iconic lake, surrounded by majestic mountains and dotted with over 30 islands, has inspired poets and songwriters for centuries. Our first stop was a Highland village by Loch Lomond, where you can admire quaint cottages and breathtaking lake views. Don't forget to look out for the mighty Ben Lomond.

▲ Continue driving west, crossing the steep Arrochar Alps, where the scenery becomes increasingly magnificent. Before reaching Inveraray, we'll make a brief stop at the "Rest and Be Thankful" viewpoint. This charming town is nestled by Loch Fyne, renowned for its picturesque views and Georgian architecture. You can stroll along quaint streets lined with white buildings, explore the harbor, or catch a glimpse of Inveraray Castle.

▲ Next, we'll travel along the shores of Loch Awe, making a brief stop at Kilchurn Castle for photo opportunities. This castle, situated in the middle of the lake, is a breathtaking ruin that once served as the ancestral home of the Campbell family of Breadalbane.

▲ Arrive at the harbor town of Oban, known as the "Gateway to the Isles," by noon. You can enjoy a delicious lunch at your own expense. This town was once a strategic stronghold and is now famous for its freshly prepared seafood.

▲ Head north, passing by Stirling Castle, towards the picturesque Glencoe. Glencoe is renowned for its steep mountain slopes and rich history, having been featured in numerous films. You'll have time to take photos and learn about the tragic events that occurred in this valley over 300 years ago.
