9:00 AM Depart from Zhangjiajie city hotel to National Forest Park (approx. 35 min drive)
The guide and driver will wait in the hotel lobby for pickup. During the ride, the guide will provide some basic information and communication.
Arrive at the attraction at 9:30 AM and take the Bailong Elevator.
Follow the guide into the attraction, take the eco-friendly bus (20 min), pass by Shili Gallery and Shuirao Simen (viewed from the bus), then walk to take the Bailong Elevator.
Bailong Elevator – Ascend 326 meters vertically in just 88 seconds, where dozens of mist-shrouded peaks come into view. This Guinness World Record-holding "outdoor elevator" offers an unforgettable, awe-inspiring experience.
10:00 AM Visit Yuanjiajie for approx. 1.5 hrs
Near the exit after the elevator ride, there is a viewing platform where you can stop and enjoy the scenery. Then, take a 5-minute walk to the shuttle (a 5-minute ride) to reach Yuanjiajie, which features around 20 to 30 attractions of varying sizes. Highlights include Mihun Terrace—offering excellent panoramic views—and Qiankun Pillar, the filming location for the floating mountains in Avatar. The final stop is the First Bridge Under Heaven. (On rainy days, you can admire the misty landscape, while clear days offer distant views of endless mountain peaks. Each season brings its own unique beauty.)
Yuanjiajie is the filming location of the "Hallelujah Mountains" from the movie "Avatar." Here, you can explore the magical world of floating mountains and scattered peaks depicted in the film. If you're lucky enough to visit after rain clears, you'll witness the breathtaking scenery of mist-covered, layered mountain peaks.
12:00 PM | Yangjiajie tour approx. 1 hr
Walk to take the eco-friendly shuttle, which takes about 8 minutes to reach the starting point of Yangjiajie Scenic Area. There are three main photo spots here: Natural Great Wall, One Step to Heaven, and Wulang Admiring Buddha. After visiting, return the same way to take the eco-friendly shuttle to the next attraction.

2:00 PM Visit to Tianzi Mountain for approx. 1 hr
The drive takes about 25 minutes, passing by several attractions where you can get off to explore, before arriving at the starting point of Tianzi Mountain scenic area. Here you'll find attractions like Imperial Writing Brush Peak, Fairy Scattering Flowers, and Tianzi Pavilion. After visiting, return the same way to board the eco-friendly bus for a 3-minute ride to Tianzi Mountain Cableway Upper Station, where you'll take the cableway (approx. 8 minutes).
4:00 PM Golden Whip Stream tour approx. 2.5 hrs
After getting off the cable car, take the eco-friendly bus for about 25 minutes to arrive at Shuirao Simen Station. Visit the nearby Golden Whip Stream, which takes about 1.5–2 hours to walk through (approx. 3.5 km). Return by bus and then take the bus back to the East Gate (approx. 11 min).
The tour ends at 6:30 PM, return to downtown hotel by vehicle.
