A very pleasant visit to the Convent of Christ after walking along the castle ramparts. Walking through the garden from the Tourist Office makes it easier. Reduced admission is available for seniors.★

Our tour guide/driver was incredibly fun and talkative. He was also very knowledgeable about the attractions and their historical anecdotes. He would tell us in advance which restaurants or dessert shops were good, or where to find restrooms, so we could use our information as a reference. We could also ask him any questions we had, and he was very generous in sharing his expertise and opinions. We had a very enjoyable day. I'm so glad we signed up for this small tour; otherwise, we would have had to buy tickets, queue, and explore on our own, and we probably wouldn't have been able to visit so many famous attractions in one day. Highly recommended!★

We had a fantastic private tour with João Fiandeiro exploring the Templar Castle and Convent of the Order of Christ in Tomat. He is very knowledgeable about the Templars, the site, the symbolism, the history, and he was very good at answering our questions. We enjoyed it immensely and were able to expand our education on the subject. João Is definitely an authority on this subject. Highly recommended!★
