Reviews: Hangzhou Lingyin Temple + West Lake Cruise + Leifeng Pagoda Day Trip, including Buffet Afternoon Tea and Song Dynasty Tea Ceremony.

Our tour guide, Ms. Chen, was incredibly dedicated and responsible. She patiently helped us take photos, provided everyone with a headset, and offered professional and comprehensive explanations! She even remembered our names, making the trip feel even more welcoming. The itinerary was well-planned and fulfilling, with no hidden fees, no shopping stops, no half-hearted activities, and virtually no queues. We managed to visit West Lake and Lingyin Temple/Feilai Peak Scenic Area in one day, and with her professional guide, it was definitely worth the trip. Ms. Chen added us on WeChat a day in advance to book transportation, and promptly took us to the meeting point at 8:00 AM the next morning. Lunch, although a vegetarian buffet, included over eighty dishes, and it was all delicious. Each person was given a bottle of water on the shuttle bus. The Song Dynasty tea ceremony and fan-based activities were very interesting. We could take the fans home, and we also sampled West Lake Longjing tea and snacks, which were quite delicious and provided a good rest. Finally, the tour didn't end abruptly. Ms. Chen gave each of us a map to our destination and even led us to the bus station, watching us board before leaving. This was my first time joining a group tour on Ctrip, and it turned out to be surprisingly good!

Reviews: [Secluded tea life] Xixi rowing boat + Longjing tea picking + Nine Creeks in the Misty Forest + secret West Lake 1-day tour
Guest User2026-09-25
The itinerary was great. Our guide was Junjun, and the car was a Buick minivan. Compared to the Mid-Autumn Festival, the trip was quite relaxed. The guide and driver were both very nice, and the schedule was well-planned. We went to Xixi Wetland in the morning and tea picking in the afternoon. The weather was quite hot, so the elderly and children didn't want to hike. It would have been more fun if the weather were a bit colder. We had lunch at Yintai and also checked out a large Mixue Ice Cream store, which we don't have in our area. We departed at 9 am and arrived at the hotel around 5:30 pm, which was quite good and suitable for a relaxed family trip.

The best experience ever. I'm a tea lover and if you are, this trip will make you love it even more. We picked fresh tea leaves from the tea field, we were showed how it was dried in the past, and clearly, with modern machineries, they finished to dry it for us. In the meantime we got some tea and snacks to savour in front of the fields, stunning! When the tea we picked was fully dried, we got it in a little bag to carry home. It was very exciting! We also made our unique matcha powder from green tea, it was a very happy moment to see how matcha is made. A very happy day, and only 50 mins from Shanghai with the train from Shanghai south station. Recommended to everyone!

Reviews: Shanghai to Hangzhou by High-Speed Train: West Lake Cruise & Lingyin Temple |CITS × ZANBUS

What a full day. Waking up early and guide Jay waiting for us at the train station. And let me start with Jay: he took care of us the entire day. He knew how to provide context for everything, no question was too much, and even our need for a tasty lunch was taken care of. You just have to go along and enjoy. At the end of the day, he personally took us all the way to the metro to the hotel. The program itself is actually three day trips rolled into one. The boat trip, promenade, temple, lunch, tea plantation and tasting—everything was provided, and transportation in between was arranged lightning fast.
