How to Start
 
[ESIM Installation]
1. Open the QR code attached to your Trip.com app booking and print or save it to another device in advance. (iOS 17 and above, and some Android phones, allow you to save the QR code image directly to your phone.)
2. Open Cellular Network (iOS) or SIM Card Management (Android) in Settings.
3. With your phone connected to the internet, tap "Add Cellular Network" (iOS) or "Add SIM Card Management" (Android) and scan the QR code to install.
4. If you are unable to scan the code, enter the "SM-DP + Address and Activation Code" from your order receipt to install.
5. If steps 3 or 4 fail, your phone may be network-locked by your local carrier (unable to use other carriers' network bands). You will need to contact your carrier to unlock it before using an eSIM.
 
[Using eSIM]
1. Turn off your primary SIM card and turn on the eSIM network switch.
2. Enable Cellular Network (iOS) or SIM Card (Android).
3. Enable Data Roaming.
4. If you still cannot connect to the internet after setting the above settings, please configure your APN and restart your phone. See the message below for details.
 
[About APN]
1. If you purchased an eSIM with multi-country coverage and are unable to connect to the internet upon arrival in a new region, please manually switch your APN (it should switch automatically under normal circumstances).
2. Set up your APN: Cellular Number > Cellular Data Network, or Mobile Network > Mobile Data Network, or Mobile Services > Mobile Data Network.
3. Enter the APN: drei.at.
4. Restart your phone.
Change & cancellation policies
If a cancellation request is submitted before 00:00, 1 day(s) prior to the expiration date, no cancellation fee will be charged.
If a cancellation request is submitted after 00:00 1 day(s) before the expiration date, a fee of 100% will be charged.
Cancellation is not allowed once the product is activated.
If a discount is applied, the cancellation fee will be calculated based on the original price before the discount and will not exceed the amount paid.
Partial refund is not available.
Important note

[Set up eSIM]

Installing an eSIM requires an internet connection. Please check in advance to see if there is available Wi-Fi or mobile data nearby. You can also bind your eSIM before departure, but data roaming will need to be enabled.

Each QR code can only be installed once on the same device. If the eSIM is accidentally removed from the device, communication services will not be available. Please save the eSIM's QR code in advance in case the eSIM card fails to bind.

FAQ
