Paulo was a wonderful guide! This was my 2nd tour with *** (1st was Coliseum) and again, I wasn’t disappointed. We had a small group of 6, and Paulo was very informative about the history of Herculaneum. It was really interesting to learn all about the city. We saw 4 or 5 rich houses, a restaurant and the men’s and women’s bath houses. We learned about what archeologists believe life was like when the city was lively, etc. and overall it was a good tour. Paulo is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does, and it shows. I chose not to see Pompei, and see Herculaneum instead. I’m not sure if it was the best choice or not. I did very much enjoy seeing the original frescos, tiled floors, and artifacts that were still in the city (and museum also included in the ticket fee).

The best guided visit we’ve ever done! Our guided, Gennaro, was absolutely fantastic - so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. This was on my bucket list to see and I’m so glad we booked through Askos Tours. So so good!
